Vero Voce will now be offering an intensive Writer's Workshop for new writers of the stage and screen, as well as a chance for experienced writers to bring in their current projects to be reviewed and studied with a fresh set of eyes. The Workshop will be led by David M. Rodriguez, resident Theatrical Artistic Director of Vero Voce.
David, who has had two of his plays produced in Los Angeles, hopes to give guidance and instruction to new writers in the Northwestern Suburbs. Members of the workshop will focus on proper story structure, full character development, and the basic rules of creative writing. Any writers who would like to continue their scripts into a production level may enter their pieces into Vero Voce's upcoming "New Playwright Festival" in early 2014. More info can be seen on the auditions page of our website.
