Although improvisation appears to be free-form, it is actually a structured process using techniques that can benefit actors in a variety of situations. Learn to make clearer, quicker and more definite choices. Listen and communicate better, and muffle your personal editor which often blocks you from being more creative and open in your acting.
Vero Voce's Improv 2 is improv for younger actors 6- 12 years old.
Instead of using scripts, students will use their mind and body to convey emotions and scenarios, allowing the actors to fully grasp the importance of making choices and understanding the specificity of certain situations.
The instructor will help students prepare believably performed "actions". With each action, students will create environments and scenarios to perform in, all while truthfully maintaining character and surrounding.
At the end of the course, the young actors will have learned that acting isn't necessarily about what you say and how you say it, but about what you feel and convey to an audience.
