Private Voice & Instrumental Instruction
Weekly private lessons in the following areas may be taken from age 6 – Adult, with experience ranging from beginner through professional. Students learn fundamentals, focusing on theory and technique. Each student will explore a variety of styles as they develop a solid musical core. Instruction is tailored to meet your individual goals.
Students are encouraged to audition and perform whenever possible in school, community and professional ensembles. A studio recital is held 2 times per year to encourage students of all levels to use the talents they are developing. In addition to it's 5' grand pianos, Vero Voce boasts a midi lab from which piano students can work with music theory via computer and a Roland RK-500 with it's many features and teaching tools.
Length of lessons is dependent upon age and level of instruction. Recommended lesson length for a beginner is 45 minutes.

Private Voice Lessons
Summer 2019
Introductory Voice Class - Grades 2-5
Instructor: Dawn Harkins
Location: Vero Voce
June 10-Aug 5, 2019 (8 week session - off June 25th)
Mondays, 2-3 PM
Tuition: $110/8 weeks
Materials: Full voice workbook (included in cost of the course)
Students will learn the basic essentials of singing, in both group and individual songs, emphasizing the following goals:
- Sing unaccompanied
- Explore the vocal instrument
- Learn traditional vocal exercises
- Speaking exercises
- Ear Training
- Rhythm Reading
- Learn to read music
- Learn to write music
- Explore the voice and music with the entire body
- Perform learned music during the final class.
